Ethelda P. “Toddy” Swigart, 96, of Decatur, IL passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2011 at Star of Hope Mausoleum. There will be no visitation. Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

She was born on September 19, 1915 in Argenta, IL to Harry and Ruth (nee Manley) Parr. She was employed by Goldblatt Bros. for 15 years as Fashion Manager. She was also an agent for the U.S. Weather Bureau for 36 years.
She married Burk Coonradt in 1935 and Robert Swigart in 1971. Both are deceased.

She is survived by one daughter, Janet (Jerry) Parker of Englewood, FL; grandson, Michael (Georgia) McMullen of Englewood, FL; four step-grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren; one niece and two nephews. Good friends Greg and Marie Kennedy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Gordon and Duane Parr, and one grandson, William McMullen.
